Brenda is an acrylic painter and mixed media artist. While she dabbled in various arts and crafts over the years, she became serious about painting in 2016 after taking a class from Greenville, North Carolina, artist Gail Ritzer. She loves to create paintings, collages and assemblages. She especially loves animal portraiture.
And, if it happens on or in the water, she probably enjoys painting that, too.
Brenda has been a full-time college business professor since she received her Ph.D. in 1992. She is also a private consultant and corporate trainer ton industry. A sought-after public speaker, Brenda educates and entertains groups of all sizes and backgrounds.
Back in Texas, Brenda did a stint as an amateur standup comic. She performed at the Addison Improv in Dallas, Texas, and at Hyena’s Comedy Club in Arlington. She won the “Bodacious Crowd Pleaser” award at the Blue Night of the Stars Talent Show in Denton, Texas, for her standup routine.

Brenda resides in Chocowinity, North Carolina, with her beloved rescue dog, Tito. Tito is a senior mutt (primarily Malti-poo) who, in reality, rescued Brenda.
